I didn’t have the right change for parking. I had dimes and nickels, not quarters or loonies. Taking a chance, I left a small envelope with the correct change taped to the outside windshield and wrote a note: “Dear Mr. Parking Police, I am a poor student with 3 children who have stolen all my correct change.
