MITACS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS:

Administrative Assistant + AI Project

NBCGSS is seeking a Computer Science student or recent graduate for a full-time Administrative Assistant position while developing AI solutions to improve student organization operations!

This unique 6-month Mitacs Business Strategy Internship ($10,000 stipend) combines hands-on office administration with a supervised AI implementation project led by Dr. Fan Jiang from UNBC’s Computer Science department.

You’ll work as our Administrative Assistant – supporting students, managing events, running our food bank, handling social media, and more (minimum 20 hours/week). While performing these duties, you’ll gain firsthand insight into our operations and work with Dr. Jiang to design AI automation solutions that address real improvement opportunities identified by our staff and leadership.

This is a full-time position requiring physical presence at our Prince George office. Perfect for Computer Science students or recent graduates who want to combine practical administrative experience with AI implementation skills.
