We Are Hiring! Join the Over the Edge Team

Looking for a meaningful way to earn while making an impact on campus? Over the Edge is opening its doors to new team members with an exciting opportunity that pays $20 per hour. The best part? The position offers flexible three-hour shifts that can fit right into a busy student schedule.

As an OTE representative, team members will get to be the friendly faces behind UNBC’s independent student newspaper, connecting with fellow students about our upcoming referendum and sharing ways to get involved with campus journalism. The role is perfect for enthusiastic graduate students who want to be part of a dynamic student-run initiative.

The position involves representing OTE at tabling events, spreading the word about opportunities, and helping fellow students discover their voice in campus media. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger, as Over the Edge continues to grow with its recent expansion alongside the Prince George Citizen, now reaching 22,000 additional readers throughout the city.

Want to join the team? Send an application to ote@unbc.ca before Jan. 13. No previous experience is required – just bring enthusiasm and a desire to connect with the UNBC community.

Ready to take the leap into student journalism? Email ote@unbc.ca to learn more about becoming part of the Over the Edge family.
