Be ready for Christmas and New Year!

Christmas is getting closer, and everyone is starting to think about gifts for loved ones. We are surrounded by an atmosphere of magic and mysticism, and we want to create a similar atmosphere at home. Every year, we try to surprise and please our relatives, but the choice of a gift becomes more difficult each time. During the exams it is challenging to think about what to give, it is difficult to choose something new and unusual, and after the exams in many stores, all the good options are already sold out. In this article, you will learn how to decorate your home easily and quickly, how to choose the right gifts for family and friends, and how to allocate time and budget to please everyone!

Everyone strives to decorate the house before Christmas to create a festive atmosphere and prolong it as long as possible. We put up the Christmas trees in advance and clean up only a month after Christmas. Those who can celebrate Christmas with their family do not think much about decorating the house. If you will celebrate holidays outside the house but still want to create an atmosphere of magic, these tips are for you! First, decide on a budget, how much you are willing to spend on decorating your room. Next, based on your preferences and traditions, make a sketch of how you want to decorate the rooms and what to put where. If your budget does not allow you to buy new decorations and a Christmas tree, it is best to go to a secondhand store, where you can find many various attributes of Christmas and New Year. For example, I bought an artificial Christmas tree of excellent quality for only $ 35!

Most of the preparation for the holidays and the most difficult is to buy gifts. Undoubtedly, everyone has a different budget and vision of gifts. Many people make mistakes when preparing gifts, but you can avoid unwanted stress and loss of time if you plan everything in advance. Initially, make a list of those you want to make gifts for. Sometimes, when making a list, you may think about people you are not sure whether you need to give something. In this case, check if you have extra money on them and if so, buy them purely symbolic gifts in the form of sweets or ornaments for the Christmas tree. After you have compiled a list of those you definitely want to prepare gifts, write next to each name the amount you are willing to spend. Next, think about what each of these people would like to get for a holiday or what they like. Try to write a few options next to each name if you can’t find something specific. I prefer to divide into four categories, those who like inspirational gifts, those who appreciate practicality, those who need to be surprised with an original gift, and those who will be pleased with a touching gift.

For those who love beautiful gifts, you can choose original decorations for the Christmas tree, a beautiful set of various candles, a mug and bath bombs, beautiful soft chair covers, candlesticks, a Christmas wreath. If your loved one appreciates practicality, in this case, you can give kitchen utensils, a supply for a tablet, a storage basket, gift certificates. You can create personalized pens, bracelets, pillows, and pendants with memorable photo frames for those who love original gifts. You can also make a festive photo album with funny photos of friends and family. For lovers of emotional skills, tickets to a concert or theater, a parachute jump, a hot air balloon flight, hanging on the roof, scuba diving is best suited. If you don’t have time to go shopping, then the most suitable option would be to order a gift online, but when choosing, rely on reviews, preferably with photos. Also, ordering gifts online is a great way out for those who want to please their loved ones but cannot give a gift in person. If you have the opportunity and desire to buy gifts directly in stores, review the list of advantages you have prepared and add to it the stores where they can be purchased. For those who have families and friends in other countries, a great option would be to spend Christmas and New Year cards!

We want to please our loved ones with the best gifts, but not every student can afford expensive gifts. If you know how to make jewelry with your own hands, embroidery, or painting pictures, this will be the most successful option. Everyone will appreciate the attention and effort you put into the gift you made yourself. But even if you don’t have such talents, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to buy an excellent budget gift. During the pre-holiday period, there are many discounts and sales in stores, among which you can find the desired gift. The main thing is not to get carried away, not to buy unnecessary items! To prevent this, follow the list you have compiled. Sometimes you don’t know what to give at all, because you don’t have enough money for a person, or he already has everything. Here is a small list of things that everyone will be happy with: a night sky projector, a cocktail shaker, a French press, a phone case, a thermocouple, a travel pillow, soft slippers, mittens, a sleep mask, a gift set of cookies and chocolate.

Also, a small idea for those who will celebrate Christmas and New Year with friends! I am sure that this game is familiar to many, but be sure to organize it with friends for those who have never tried it. First, play Secret Santa. To do this, one person needs to write on pieces of paper the names of friends with whom you will celebrate the holidays, put the pieces of paper in the hat. Next, each participant will take turns pulling out a piece of paper with a name, and the one whose name each participant pulled out should prepare a gift. It is also necessary to agree to decide on what limited amount everyone should buy a gift.

Exams have come to an end, and now it’s time to enjoy the weekend and prepare for the holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
