Lemurs of Madagascar: A story of conservation at the intersection of land, people, and endemic biodiversity
Abstract: Lemurs are among the most endangered mammals on Earth. Addressing this crisis requires identifying which species are most at risk and creating conservation strategies that also support Madagascar’s communities. In this talk, I present a case study of the population ecology of Eulemur fulvus and E. mongoz and explore how community-base strategies can help safeguard their future.
