Festival North kicks off with a one-of-a-kind outdoor celebration of classical and traditional music, complete with food and an all-season skating rink! So come with your lawnchairs, your skates, a healthy appetite, and a spirit of celebration as we welcome our 2026 musicians. Sponsored by Tourism Prince George.
4:30PM – Meet the Artists: Festival 2026 artists introduce themselves in an exciting outdoor mini-concert.
5:00PM – Traditional Welcome and drumming: Khast’an Ult’oneh
6:00PM – Skating in the Summer: Live orchestra music and Argentinian tangos, live in the plaza.
7:00PM – The Pelletier Boys: fun and virtuosity in father-son duo.
Civic Centre Plaza. Bring a lawnchair (and your skates!). Food trucks onsite from 4pm. Free event; tips for musicians are welcome.
