What you’ll learn: The opioid poisoning crisis & the role of harm reduction in healthcare; How to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose; Safe and effective administration of naloxone. This session is highly recommended for all students, regardless of prior experience, and is a vital step in becoming a responsible, ethical, and prepared healthcare provider.
